What's new

Every test build, newest first. New builds go out on the Discord before anywhere else.

  1. Invite links that open the appLatest

    • Invite links now look like firelit.club/j/… and open straight in Firelit on Android. If someone doesn't have the app yet, the link shows them the club and how to get it.
    • The You tab has new links: send feedback, join the Discord, read the privacy policy, and delete your account.
    • Firelit has a home on the web now: firelit.club.
    • Everything is smoother: busy rooms open quicker, long shelves scroll without a hitch, icons show up right away instead of blinking in, and buttons respond the moment you touch them.
    • Taps feel nicer on Android: a soft click on buttons, a tick when you choose something, and a little double tap when a room opens. If you've turned touch vibration off on your phone, Firelit stays quiet too.
  2. Live rooms and reports

    • Rooms update while you're in them. New posts just appear, no refresh needed.
    • You can report a post, spoilers included, from the ⋯ next to it. Your host decides what happens to it.
    • Hosts get a Reports card on the club page with two choices: hide the post or keep it. If a reported post is in a room you haven't reached yet, it stays hidden from you there too, and you can still hide it without reading it.
    • Hosts can bring a hidden post back.
    • Friendlier wording in a few places.
  3. New icon

    • A new Firelit icon and splash screen: a little lit doorway with a flame inside.
    • A small illustration on the Home welcome card.
  4. Your clubs are real

    • Sign in with your email and everything you do is saved: start a club, invite people with a link, check in, post, react, give your verdict, vote on the next game and plan sessions.
    • Spoiler protection lives on the server, not only in the app, so nobody can read ahead.
  5. First test build

    • The first Android build: sign-in and the sample world to look around.
