A book club,
but for video games.
You and your friends play one game over a few weeks. Every chapter gets its own little room to talk in, and a room only opens once you've reached it. Nobody gets spoiled, and nobody has to wait for the slowest player.
Free to try. Android for now, iPhone and web later.
How a club works
A club is a few friends, or a whole Discord, playing the same game at the same time. Here's what that looks like.
Start a club, or bring yours
Pick a game and how many weeks you want to spend on it, then send your friends a link. The club page shows where you are, where the club is headed this week, and when the next voice session is.
Invite with a link
Rooms open as you play
Every chapter or act has its own room, and it stays locked until you check in there. Even its name stays hidden. If you join late, you start at the first room like everyone else did.
Locked on the server too
Talk with people at the same point
Each room starts with a question from your host, and every post shows how far its author has played. New posts show up while you're reading. If someone slips up, you can report it and your host can hide it.
Rooms update live
Then give it a verdict
When the club wraps up, everyone gives the game a verdict and it lands on your shelf, a little diary of everything you've played. Then you vote on what's next.

Things I'm leaving out
No ads
Nothing in Firelit is trying to sell you something, and your data isn't for sale either.
No streaks or XP
Games have plenty of that already. Play at your own pace, and the app won't nag you about it.
No peeking ahead
Posts from rooms ahead of you are never sent to your phone, so there's nothing to peek at.
Hi, I'm the one building Firelit.
It's just me for now, and it's early days, so things will change and some of them will break. If you want to try it, come hang out on the Discord. Test builds go out there first, and I read everything people post.
If you already run a game club, I'd especially love to hear from you.
